PS - Which of those "legitimate" labels is he selling his "Elvis demos" on? Wayne-Weisman/Hill&Range material isn't in the public domain.

@rontenn It takes no time at all to find out all kinds of stuff about anybody if they're stupid enough to put their every move and conversation on the internet. It gets copied and duplicated too so it's out there for keeps. You bring up a subject and anybody can find what you've already said about it with a few easy searches. @rontenn It's easy to understand that Proby's people change their stories when they realize they bungled it. He's had one gig since June, two more are scheduled between now and next March and you call that good. He's almost as popular as the flu. Ripping and burning old tracks on a CD isn't brand new. Other bootleggers have been doing it forever.

It doesn't matter how small the Frank Johns Band following is, Proby's following isn't much either if you look at how few gigs he's getting! Proby doesn't have enough fans to increase profits from sales for anybody. If he did he wouldn't have been dropped from the LMK tour.

Tom Jones is a much bigger draw than PJ Proby. If Ricky had substituted Tom for PJ most people would think it was a good deal but would Proby fans be happy?
