Upgraded the AVR3311CI to a Denon AVR4311CI, and speakers went from Klipsch to Definitive Technology BP7001SC SuperTowers w/ Supercubes in them. Added an Emotiva XPA-5 (1,000W) 5 channel amp to the 4311, and now we are talking some serious tunes.

If you goto the Denon site, and you will see that the Denon AVR-3311CI is capable of outputting 125W per x 7 Ch into 8Ω Characteristic Impedance. But you will find out on the bench tests driving 5 channels that your most likely getting around 90W per channel. If you want some Punch to your sound, even with efficient Klipsch speakers put an Emotiva XPA-5 on it at 200W per Channel and then you will fell the SPL increase royally on all five channels!!

Even through YouTube you can pick up some general comparisons of how it all sounds, believe it or not --
EMOTIVA, KLIPSCH, AND DENON TOTALLY ROCK !!

Pheet -- Thank you. This A/V was taken before I added an Emotiva XPA-5 amplifier with 200W RMS per Channel. Someday will have to update this A/V with the latest equipment. The most important thing to consider and learn is how to set up the Denon AVR-3311CI correctly, and once that is done both Stereo and MultiCh Stereo modes come alive.

Honestly, never really took grills off and watched them, so I don't know. But the RF82II's will handle this: POWER HANDLING: 150W RMS / 600W Peak, and at those power levels at 12ft. it will be putting out around 111db or so at 150W RMS.
