Hi Lara - I'm sure you'll have an amazing trip. I think the only advice I could give is have a guide! I don't think we would have achieved hardly anything without this.

We did as much research as we could before we went, but she had the language, provided a driver, and was a font of useful & helpful information.

I am planning to go to Zlatopol this summer, in couple of weeks. Any tips on how to find things there? My great grandparents are also from Zlatopol (Poisic, rabbi family). I would appreciate anything helpful. Thanks a lot in advance. Lara

This is fantastic! My grandmother and her cousin (my husband's grandmother) came from Zlatapol. It has been hard to get information about the community.

I am sure it would be difficult to find out which exact shtetl.
