yo elliott! i have about a year to train for football. Im going to be playing outside linebacker. Can i use Conjugate Periodization for a year?

Yep your right you shouldn't have used the word, 'wrong'.
Cycle, shock, eat right, rest. It's not rocket science.

BB'ing is higher reps (12-15) with moderate to high intensity, typically 50% to 80/90% 1RM. Strength is lower reps (5), and on the very high side of intensity, typically 80-100% 1RM. Although some BB'ers will train at even higher reps with max weight possible, for complete muscle exhaustion. Key is to stay anaerobic. That's how I see it anyway.

I agree, if you don't use it you lose it. We do the same thing in our training, not with pie charts though.

Strongman exercises are functional?!?! I thought balancing on a ball and touching my finger to my nose was while juggling a 1/2 lb med ball!

Absolutely!!! I even use it to prepare for my strongman competitions.
