  • Brillaiant launch......almost like a Jetex rocket but then the vid turns into

fine example of banging too far downwind followed by a very uninspiring MUSHEY hover into wind to get to the patch..........!.Im assuming that the wing section is prety thin based on the launch so keeping the thing moving would probably make for longer flights...will it take any balast..... a good few ounces added would probably make for a much better flight

Ballast would make it fly more stable, but in this case it will not help in flight time.... Since the reason it stay up so long is because of the ridge lift, due to the plane is so light....

  • I've got to pickup an ELF. Great looking and flying plane

What you cannot see is that the field has that hill and even bigger trees upwind creating lots of turbulence and breaking up any lift unless the lift is very strong. This video was taken later in the evening when the lift had died down so you are correct in that I had to scrounge whatever I could from the little bit of ridge lift that was there. This mini does very well compared to the other mini's that I have witnessed/flown. I was getting 1:30 in no lift/no wind conditions
