My take on how to fix your diet. Dont worry, you can make this work.

PART 1 of 2

BTW, here are some extra points I forgot to add:

1.) dont compare yourself to boys, they are too different and have a much easier time with weight loss than their female counterpart

2.) After you do all the stuff in here it will take a good while to plateau, maybe 4 months or so... then you can fix that plateau by doing the calorie trickery you spoke of. My trainer has me add an extra 200 calories on 2 days of the week. I picked Wed and Sat becasue they are evenly spread out across the week.

3.) Never go below 1200 cal per day, because I've heard thats the bare minimum your bod should safely get. I do 1300 (you can go as high as 1500 MAX) but keep all my eating as clean as possible so as not to induce some sort of malnutrition or somesuch. With so few calories, you have to keep it clean but you WILL lose! You absolutely will.

Total weight loss for me is 101 lbs so far, so trust me it works!

  • Thanks! I got all of it straight from the personal trainer I had for a few months. He had a degree in nutrition and was excellent. I had to quit going to him a couple weeks ago since it costs so much darn moolah. I still use all the tricks Ive learned though and am still losing weight. I'm definitely keeping my fingers crossed for Mandy.

  • I agree with you SO much! Yes! In one of my first weight-loss videos I spoke at length about that... keeping it the SAME every day. There's a lot of science about it, but basically when your body realizes that there is always going to be a steady amount of food available to it, it decides that it no longer needs to hold on to all the fat - which is there for all intents and purposes for "survival" - biologically, anyway :)

    Great advice!
