The closest thing to a roman chariot race. I grew up in San Gabriel Valley, where speedway racing was king. Irwindale, speedway 605, Costa Mesa, etc. I had a chance to ride a Jawa once at Indian Dunes oval. It was quite a handful- let off the gas to hook up and go faster. Thanks for posting.

Remember all of it. How about Robin Hood, Denny Becker, Mark Cherry, Tom Burba. Young Oxley and Schwartz.Hey animal275 how old is this? I see espn logos on the fence. This track was the place to be in and around Berdoo. Grew up here. Long ago used to be able to stand right up against the wall.(no buffer fence)At yuor own descretion of course.Loved it. Loved it.
