  • just saw this opera yesterday with a local south african cast, the best in my opinion the worldf should watch out for Pretty Yende that girl is going places... not a huge fan of moteverdi but have to say it was all worth going:)

  • When was this first on TV? I remember a Harnoncourt production of this from about 1980 or '81. Could it be the same one?
