Love this! How can I make this table sturdy if I only have a kreg?

The table will be somewhat sturdy with just the Kreg but it really does need extra support. If you can grab a loose tenon system that would be great because you can add that to the pocket holes. If not at least use angled supports for extra strength.

Hi. Isn't it funny how the questions keep coming? How do you like the Beadlock joinery system?

The Beadlock is awesome except I wish I had the bigger one. I liked though how You can combine pocket holes with loose tenon joinery if you use the smaller one. So far so good I'd say.

Did you plane and joint the table top boards before assembling them? Also, what was the purpose of the stain and paint thinner mix as the finish. What are directions should i follow if I want a similar finish? Lastly, are those all soft pine boards or did you choose a harder wood? Great Video and Table! Extremely Talented!!!

Yes I jointed them with a router table back before I had my jointer. The paint thinner went in to the clear coat and I cringe every time I see that part because I put way too much in there. It's all white pine from Home Depot and finishing isn't really my strong point so I can't really tell you how to do it. These videos are moreso motivating and artistic but not howto stuff. If you learn something then that's always a plus.

Thanks for the inspiring video. Did you have to plane the boards you got from home depot to get them flat? Most of the boards I see there are pretty warped.

also, how did you join the edges of the board? was it only glue? No dowels? Did I miss something?

Really clean work style. It's the way I like working too. Would love a tool list, I saw a kreg, but didn't recognize any of the other handy doohickeys.

I'm going to try the bench project then the table when I get all the material. Very nice how it all came together. Awesome!
