Hydrogen fuel cell's are horrible compared to plug-in electric, you waste more energy refining, transporting , storing and selling the hydrogen than you would with electricity for plug-in EV. Plus electricity is cheaper and you have more source options, if electric rate go up you can even install solar panels on a house and be a lot more independent than relying on a hydrogen industry which will likely mimic Big Oil (if not in fact be a spawn of Big Oil cartel)
