  • @WEINBAUER Agreed. I'm one of the "Play the heavier stuff!" guys but understand that the vast majority of people seeing them are there for "The Hits" & so I don't rant about it. But if they did a special one-off show of all heavy/faster material (Truth?, White Lightning... even play a lot of the never/lesser-played "Retro Active" & "Slang" songs: Desert Song, Fractured Love, Action, Truth?, Turn To Dust, Deliver Me) *ANYWHERE* in the US, I'd fly out for it... Chicago, NY, LA. Doesn't matter.

  • @Ajwmsaguitarman I'm with you on that, and I'm normally a "Viv Defender!" (lord, that sounds like a sad Superhero ;-) While I think the band (and yes, Vivian playing what's thought of as a 'Steve Song') did a great job here, this is a stretch for Joe's voice even in a lower key, and there's just something *magical* about Steve's guitar tone on this and "Gods of War" with his Gibson Firebird, which DOESN'T have super high-output pickups and gave a killer semi-distorted tone... almost Rush-like.

  • Get the audio from this clip at tubepull doht cohm.

  • This was a great tour.My only problem with it was they crammed too many ballads into a 105 minute show and they didn't really space them out when they played them in the live set.

  • @Ry4nH4m1ll i agree but he went for that high note at 3:24 which out of almost all the vids he doesnt. i wonder if the older you get the more your voice falls apart. obviously that is true.

  • @Numba1Gama lol

  • @Longwood28 His voice just doesn't screech anymore like it used to, it's all mellow now.. Sad really.

  • Who the mother fucking fuck disliked this.

  • @Longwood28 , sorry but not as good as 88

  • Wow, Joe kicked it out of the part in this concert!! I don't know what all the talk about his voice being shot. They sounded as good as they did in 1988!! Great job by one of the greatest bands ever!!
