Tornado seen at speed northbound on Cathedrals Express 25 november 2010---then on the return at Grantham . The driver was expecting the slowline at Grantham for a water stop at Highdyke jct . But the signals were for straight away on the mainline --so he stops to query the signal with Doncaster. You see a station inspector rushing up to ask "what's happening " and the driver plus official from train have a conflab with her ---then you see the signal change to red then green with the white indicators. Commuters from the Leeds train got a treat there ---so did we!!
And again --thanks to Grantham station staff for keeping us informed of trains progress.
