TNFS:SE (PC DOS/W95 1996) based on this game/sim is still the best ever. And by releasing TOTAL unrealistic crap like NFS:HP (2010) - hairpins at 190 mph anyone? - they're making sure it will stay that way forever. BTW: Alpine Segment 3 in Ferrari 512TR was done in 3:26.4 (completely unmodified/stock/no cheats). And that is a slow time compared to what can be done (Supra already under 3:20). @0ldsch00lgamer you're so damn right.... still get tears thinking of the long sessions of nfs2 se and nfs3 hp (sadly i never had the first one), but when underground came out - i got sick of it.

i ordered a 3do off ebay to play this and other games. it should be coming next week...
this was the best NFS game, the 3do version was better than the psx version. the new NFS's suck.
thanks for poisoning the series fast'n'furious. NFS was good until that damn movie came along.

The 3DO version also had a special feature: it seems that the beacon light of cop cars flashes in this version only...other versions have no light effect.
