Parasitic Shelter (Guggenheim Competition)

The inspiration of our design is from My Thuan bridge that connects two riversides of Tien Giang river. My Thuan bridge plays an important role in the economic development of our country, especially in tourism on the river that is a specific trait of the South of Viet Nam. From that, our idea is designing shelters used for one person with slight structure and connected into beams under the bridge directly. Tourists are attracted by enjoying wonderful landscape with fresh air on the river.

Generally, this is the good idea. However, there are some details might be unrealistic. If only made it real version, we'd realise whether it has weaknesses or not. The presentation is quite clear and informative, but only in technical point of view. What should it be used for, what problems may happen in real, how can we handle them?... is the questions should be answered. In short, the project shows the new idea by the nice method and I'm glad to see it comes true.
