Rye Whiskey - American folk song on ukulele

This is my entry for Todd's FOLK UKE EXTRAVAGANZA contest. I searched the folk music archives to find the right song and stumble upon this one. It's called Rye Whiskey and I don't know who wrote it (often the case with folk songs I guess) but it's been covered by Tex Ritter, Pete Seeger, Dave Matthews and many more. None of them sing the same lyrics either so I just picked a few verses I liked...

As soon as I heard it I know it was the perfect song for me to play for this contest.

I was watching some totally unrelated video and YT put this one in the sidebar. And I was like, "hell yeah, I'm watching Baron do Rye Whiskey!" And so then I did. And I was like, "hell yeah Baron - this kicks ass!" And so now I'm like, that was awesome.
