Developers have taken the City to the Ontario Municipal Board, effectively eliminating the public consultation process. Doon South is a sensitive groundwater recharge area of the Waterloo Moraine. The banks of the Grand River share a legacy of industrial pollution. Toxic chemicals like Trichloroethylene (TCE) are linked to serious illnesses in our communities.
