well technically because of the greek belifs the hydra was in both myths but hercules was totally different than this. The hydra was fought off by jason but was killed in hercules tale by him burning the nech holes of the hydra. the hydra had a first name too that starts with "s" but i can't remember so just look it up but that is the brief story. Thanks

Well the 1963 JATA was a hydra not a dragon although the myth is a dragon that guards the fleece. Talos attacked them on there return according to the myth but in the film it was on the way there. There was a fire breathing bull you forgot mention also.
