Too cute! My friend and I accidentally stumbled upon this breed and we fell in love. I've wanted one for a while, but I have no idea where to get one or how hard it is to take care of them. (If they need a special food, if washing them like cats and dogs is fine or if there is a special way to do it, etc.) Do you by any chance know where you could adopot a Fennec Fox?
(Also, great video. She's adorable.)
thats not good to let it bite ur finger. it will think thats acceptable. when it gets older and bigger its going to want to bite you.. and its going to hurt

@theydidntnameme Actually, they are just like cats or dogs with regards to the fact that if you teach them the difference between rough play time, and when you want them to stop, its fine. However, some people don't let their animal know they are in charge and not the pet, this is when it becomes an issue.

I read somewhere that chihuahuas are possibly related to some type of fox. (I'll have to do some research.) My little 4 pound female acts so much like your Fennec. Weird! She has the same exact shape of ears and nose too.

@ERitsema Actually chihuahuas are nowhere near related to Fennecs. That is just a rumor someone started because of the similar looks. Dogs and foxes have a completely different number of chromosomes. But you can check out my website for any info you could possibly want about Fennec Foxes :)
