is that the Roadstar that with the Floyd..a pain changing strings if its the one i remember..
my V has the 496r & 500t & its got a really bright sound..
a passive pickup for a Kerry King jackson probaly a Seymour Duncan dimebucker or a Dimarzio super distortion but if it was mine it would be an ESP Active & i'd pretend to be Kai Hansen lol

Right on Brother, Rock my face off . I have a 1984 Ibanez Roadstar II RS525. It a killer guitar for brutal metal mayhem. Tell me I just got a Jackson Flying V Japan from the early 2000. What passive pickup uou recommande for a killer sound. I got silly drunk with Mike Wead last summer in Sweden. LOL rock on mate

Yes the Marauder are hard to find. Check criaglist or other sometimes you can get lucky. I bought this guitar in 1987. Cheers

@roodbrood Is the the issue with the chickenhead pup selector switch I can't tell, and nice playing beautiful guitar.
