Unsent letter to an anorexic

I've known an anorexic for a couple of years. She means so much to me, but I don't think she knows.

I wrote this down after seeing some of those pro-anorexic videos floating around. To every one of you putting up stuff like that, you know what you are doing is wrong - don't drag others down with you.

The only one who knows about my eating disorder is my boyfriend. I feel so sorry for him now...sometimes I wish i never told him so that he'd have one less thing to worry about. :/

@bellezzacondolore having been in that position, I'm sure he worries very much, but it might be better if you look at it objectively. He would have found out anyway, and could you have gotten close if you hadn't revealed it? Also its his job to care - otherwise he's not a boyfriend. Use it as one more reason to seek help. this vid is kinda painful...ive had an eating disorder for about 7 yrs now....i kind of feel like this letter is sort of attacking us....maybe leave us alone...we all have problems. i hate it wen ppl butt in to my probs...i dont need someone telling me to stop losing weight.

There are literally hundreds of pro-ana videos. In some unintentional way I might have hurt you, but my point was to counterbalance the pro-ana while letting out my personal feelings on the subject.

I have the same thing :) some times i wishes he never knew about this....

So he doesn't have to worry about me. But that isn't possible :( to bad.

I love him, and he is my life. But i doesn't want him to worry about me.

I hope your friend is better now. I lost a friend partly due to my paranoia of them telling my 'secret' - I threatened our friendship when they found out and eventually ended it anyway. I'll never forget the look on their face...
