This video demonstrates the process - although it is simplified greatly - of making French press coffee.
It is a very simple process where you grind the coffee beans, boil the water, add the water to the ground coffee in the press carafe, then letting the coffee steep. After about five minutes you press the coffee down and pour yourself a great cup of coffee.
You can also grind your beans at the store but the grind must be course. If you grind it fine the press will not work, it will get stuck. You could also buy pre-ground coffee, but again it needs to be a course grind to work in your French press.
We use Eight 'o Clock brand coffee. It is inexpensive and tastes much better than most other brands. It has a more European flavor as opposed to the bitterness of American coffee.
Enjoy - leave question if you like.
Have a great day!
