Even more sick than before! Upper Beginner - Intermediate level Japanese vocabulary for when you take ill:

症状 Shoujou symptoms
食欲 Shokuyoku Appetite
食欲がない shokuyoku ga nai Loss of Appetite
下痢 Geri Diarrhea
便秘 benpi Constipation
顔色が悪い kaoiro ga warui Pale Complexion
頭痛 zu tsuu Headache
筋肉痛 kinniku tsuu Muscle pain
吐き気 hakike Nausea
微熱 bi netsu Slight fever
体がだるい karada ga darui To Feel Sluggish
入院 nyuu in Entering the hospital
退院 tai in Leaving the hospital
健康診断 kenkou shindan Physical Exam

  • this is really good. the kana could be a little more visible tho and I didnt find the music distracting at all. but the lesson is great anyhow :)

  • I love how the Japanese for "headache" is "zu tsuu" cos thats the exact noise I make when I have a headache :)

  • Sorry, I forgot to answer the first question.

    If you don't have an appetite, you can say "Watashi wa shoku yoku ga nai" or just "Shoku yoku ga nai".

  • "Ga nai" is like "There is not".

    So, "You are not a flower of hell"="Anata wa naraku no hana Ja nai".

    You can't say "Watashi wa naraku no hana Ga nai".
