  • I am a musician (who studies Bach)...not that that matters. Anyone can hear that this is beautiful and requires immense talent.

If all you hear is "bee boo dee doo" than I'm sorry.

  • I love you bobby McFerrin

  • 'He understood the role of joy and play in reverence...' That's one of the most insightful things I've ever heard said about Bach.

  • @hickeye Bach is famous for his counterpoint. One singer can't sing counterpoint.

  • Good music dances. Counterpoint 1 to 1, then 2 to 1, then 3 to 1, and so on.

  • I DO dance.....in my mind.

  • This is awesome. I just remember when McFerrin was in Austria to perform concert for europe as a conducter. Viennese Blood for instance. It was really awesome in my opinion even if I wasn't there but I saw it on TV.

  • I couldn't have said it better, I mean the whole dance music thing is so true, I never found words to describe it but here it is this guy who finally says it"

  • This is absolutely amazing....as someone who also plays Bach and sings as the front man of a rock band, I can't even BEGIN to imagine how challenging it is to SING BACH.

Bach keeps you on your toes, as a musician. He forces you to think as you play. I can't imagine the concentration needed to do something like what Bobby did. It's just awesome :D

  • WOW. When I first saw this I kind of laughed. The guy is going to sing Bach? but wow, he really is talented. I think to sing Bach requires you to be audacious. Good for him.

  • yes!!!!!! woops I just ate all my pretzels watching this.

  • @FFloppyhat you're right, but YES, he IS a genius.
