This video is my response to Mr5point56. In it I cover the most tactically sound method of carrying a firearm. Otherwise known as "Carry Condition Tactical Butterscotch." With this video I launch the first volley in what is sure to be an epic and all consuming flame war that will leave youtube in ruins. :)

  • I'm sure this video was well intentioned but now that this is on the internet you have given Tactical Butterscotch to bad guys around the world. I'm in constant fear of a very long, drawn out mugging.

  • @skillsandgear There is a defense against bad guys using CCTB. You ask them to hold your wallet and cell phone. That ties up one of their hands and you can then run away.

  • I really got my wife with this video, I set it up as VERY serious video, then sat back and watched it soak in! This one is a classic.

  • @GeorgiaShooter I hope she was able to absorb the fundamentals of the process.

  • Hey YM, I thought about it! I'm going CARRY CONDITION TITTY PINK!! I'll carry a polaroid of one of my guns pointing at the camera and show it to anyone who may pose a threat!

    Great video!

  • @iamcrimsonspecter2 I am sure I am not the only one that realuzes your method will not work. They don't make Polaroid cameras anymore.

  • @TheRiggenbach I really don't know. But uppers are not regulated, tracked etc because they are not a firearm. Barrels, slides, charging handles, whatever the manufacturers do not control themselves (aftermarket trigger groups etc) can be purchased without an FFL because they are not a firearm. Handgun frames, lowers, other rifle's receivers are defined as such. I doubt the assault and brandishing laws in your state are specific enough to protect you from prosecution.. I wouldn't try it. ;)

  • @MisterAvis right. so can you be charged with anything for pointing say, an AR lower at someone? surely not

  • @TheRiggenbach the part with the serial number on it is by legal definition, the firearm.

  • This video should be mandated for our troops heading overseas in reference to ROE, I would've benefited from it. One of the funniest videos ever.

  • @TheYankeeMarshal funny stuff and well written last sentence in your intro - could be used for many vids around utube, well done

    - we have some similar silly idea in florida, as in car carry, as in u need three points of departure? needs to be enclosed, safety on and no bullet in chamber or maybe your magazine is supposed to be out? which might just give the bad guys too much advantage... loaded, saftey off, chambered and in between your legs below the steering wheel - IDEAL

  • Ah, ha! Now I know where I've seen you before. You're the embedded Rolling Stone reporter from the HBO mini series Generation Kill. If you haven't seen it you really should check it out. It's a great narrative on the demoralizing incompetence perpetrated on our marines by their ranking officers during Desert Storm II.

  • you're so funny!

  • THAT was hilarious. Thanks for the upload.
