Batching Skid filled with a Piab Vacuum Conveyor at CFIA 2011 in Rennes (France)

Demo batching unit used to batch some rice from a previously filled weighed vessel (batch out). The vessel is filled by a Piab Conveyor C21.
The weigh is checked to determine that a sufficient material quantity is available in the vessel before batching.
If the gross weight is below a low level, then an output is activated to command the conveyor to fill the vessel up to a high level.
The instrument waits for the weigh to become stable before auto taring is performed. The display switches to net weight and displays zero. Coarse and fine outputs are activated to command the batching valve at the bottom of the vessel. Then only the fine output is activated up to an "inflight level" to reach the exact setpoint value (5.0 kg). The inflight value is adjusted automatically after each batching.
The instrument waits a time so that all material is really stable on the scale and is ready for the following batching (repeated a defined number of times). Weigh modules are KIS-8 and batching indicator is TAD3, from Vishay Nobel (Karlskoga, Sweden),

Alimentation d'une trémie de dosage pondéral par un transporteur pneumatique par le vide Piab type C21. Dosage de riz (5,0 kg) par extraction en grande et petite vitesses à partir d'une trémie posée sur 3 pesons, avec remplissage automatique de la trémie en cas de manquant par le transporteur pneumatique. Pesons KIS-8 et Indicateur de dosage automatique TAD-3 fournis par Vishay Precision Group.
