2010 NASCAR Bristol - Lost communication triggers a 13 car pileup

Greg Biffle and Mark Martin gets hung coming out of turn 2 with Martin hitting the wall hard. Martin tries get to the pits but came up triggering 13 car pileup that involves him, Jeff Gordon, Marcos Ambrose, David Ragan, Kevin Harvick, Juan-Pablo Montoya, Joey Logano, Robby Gordon, Martin Truex Jr., Ryan Newman, Brian Vickers, and Carl Edwards. Reportedly Biffle communication to his helmet came unhook so he couldn't hear his spotter. Interview from Mark Martin.

IT's really hard to blame Biffle when he has no spotter. It's not like he took him out. Martin got up on his quarter panel from behind and there was no way Biffle knew he was there.

That was biffles' spotters fault...Mark had to go and was on outside of him on that whole turn.

@wha65 Totally agree, but how come marcos and montoya always get penalties when they are winning or look like coming up the pack to win the race.

The car has never been the same since homestead you are right.

But Marcos has had bad motors since Homestead last year, poor pitstops and his own driver errors here.
