The reason why you are a manual laborer is because you are an idiot. You refuse to acknowledge the science of economics. So you bitch about how someone more educated than you, who is more economically valuable than you gets paid more? Then you have the nerve to use that pseudoterm: "working" man, as if nobody else except for physical laborers works.
Who is "Wall Street?"
Who is "Main Street?"
What is their relationship?
No wonder you don't make much money.

@jayrusniak1 I've never said Obama was a devil. Obama is doing exactly what Bush did as far as receiving contributions for the corporations, lawyers, banks, etc. My point is the free market isn't what it once was. It's more a Fascist system where business and government benefit each other. Should workers get paid more? Only individuals who work harder should get paid more. And I am in no way benefiting directly from Obama or the stimulus, but I know a friend who is.

@depletable i completely agree. The republican conservatives will disagree with you because they think they're always supporting hard work, they're actually supporting greed. Our country was doing unbelievably well after WWII and the highest tax bracket was 94 percent at one point. Anyone who spends any time with poor people knows they work harder than rich people

@ggadguy His point is the workers of our country should be paid more. He has nothing to say about capital risk and everything to say about inequality, which is growing because of morons like you who think obama is the devil when he's probably benefiting you. You say bonuses DON'T help the employees, OF COURSE THEY DO. I hope you don't vote in elections, you have nooooo clue what you're talking about.

It's 2010.... and nothing has changed.

Business people get paid more because they invest their capital, which takes risk. If it wasn't for profits, businesses couldn't expand, hire new people or invest in new products. Sometimes profits go to bonuses, which may not actually help the company or their employees.
We don't have Capitalism now. There are more corporations than ever, and government receives their contributions. Obama gets paid by the bankers, and lawyers and we look more Fascist. We're going in the wrong direction.

True as hell. I don't understand the greed of rich men. I feel there should be a plateau of wealth - where when you have everything you can possibly desire, and need for, that you start to try and improve the lives of those you can.
Maybe their desires are unquenchable. But why need multiple houses? Get a fuckin' time share or som'n. Too many cars is too much, but some people would collect, so that at least has logic. But I never heard of collecting houses as a hobby.
