Also known as "Brinstar Interior" or "Brinstar Covered in Red Soil" (I did not make that second one up). Maybe the most atmospheric theme in the game, but the again, all of them are.

This music has always made me feel uneasy. When I was playing this game as a kid, I couldn't wait to get out of Brinstar so I could calm my nerves, no joke, lol.

That's only because you know it from the game, probably. Someone who has never played Super Metroid might label this "repitive" and "boring".

Then again, it's just my personal opinion, anyway. If you think that this is good/fun/whatever to just listen to, that's a perfectly valid opinion, as well.

Totally agreed. Superb atmosphere, just yells "solitude" like no other. I always have this one in my game playlists...

I used to go to the first Brinstar 2 area and make Samus jump up and down to the beat of this song. The pattern of the waves move according to it as well! Good times :)
