I've known Casey since he was a child playing in Little League because I dated his cousin for 7 years. He comes from a fantastic, loving and extremely supportive family and I am absolutely amazed he didn't go even further in MLB. Don't get me wrong.... Triple A is as close as you could get, but this kid is as talented as anyone and could have easily flourished if given the chance. It's great to see him playing so close to home and hopefully he has more time left.
