I have one! He is my sweetie pie! We are from Scotland and we got him from a farm, both of his parents where sheep hearders. I love my Blue so much!

@StephenB58 you missed the best part dude, I look into mine & there's nothing else there but pure love, ok, there's nothing but pure love when they look at my wife & kids eyes, but, I know they love me in their own way! just not the same as my wifes, they LOVE her! I think it's the treats?

@ShelbyBl0nd3 culture shock. most dogs never get a chance to understand what they were bred to do. but just being quality companions seems to satisfy them just as much.

Border Collies are the smartest dogs in the world. You can look into their eyes and see the fires of intelligence, burning in their eyes. You can look into the eyes of lots of people, and there is just nothing there. You can reason with Border Collies better than you can reason with a whole lot of people.
