  • So I followed all the steps but when I try to put on my drum it don't fit. Also everything is loose and not tight. It seems as of the shoes are expanded outwards or something. Any suggestions. I also thought it had to do with the wheel cylinder so I bought a new one n installed it.

  • @Biohazerd2012 yeah it's got to do with your star wheel adjuster thing. You must not have done what I was talking about at 8:08 in the video.

  • on drum brake when u have the car rear on jackstand n the car's on park with the e- brake down n have someone step on the brake would u still be able to turn the wheels with your hands? OR IT SUPPOSE TO LOCK UP? i had people saying that u should still b able to spin it wit lil drag and other say no the wheel should lock up once step on so i'm confuse.if u or anyone know lmk...thks

  • @fuckthaworldz For future viewers (i know it's a little late for you now) you want it adjusted so that you can spin the drum approximately one full rotation.

  • nice, thanks for the video! My brakes squeak every time I let go of that brake pedal, it's been driving me crazy for so long... finally getting the drums replaced, hopefully it all goes well!

  • thanks for making this video man... it really helped me out with my 97 civic drum repair because I didn't know shit about drums..... gotta love the "dikes" lol and also gotta say drum brakes are the worst invention ever!

  • Haha you're awesome dude such a big help.

  • good video but why do you have your text parts just flashing for 2 seconds? nobody can read those that fast and you gotta keep pausing the video to read it

  • Thanks for your video. It was definitely helpful.

  • @HondaHowTo1 thks for the replied...i just left it ever since.my problem was what i stated i did adjust the star key like u say but fell drag n burning smell does it suppose t be like that at first?cause i went back n adjusted to where the tire scatch lil when u spin it n didnt fell drag or smell but some how the wheels turn while i have someone step on the brakes when cars on jack stand..

  • @DynamicUnreality Just to add for future viewers, any 10mm bolt on your honda will work for those to little threaded holes on the drum.
