  • MY 9600 xt can't run the game. It's only going to be dark after 5 minutes.

  • can i run it on low with ATI Radeon X2300?

  • Well, yeah, after about a year or so when I made that comment, I have!

  • Darkwalker , dah!

    never played UT3?

  • well i killed the graphiccard, but it was able to run the game smoothly, anyhow the pc was something i did build and played around.

  • sorry for the 4months too late response lol,

there are a lot of tweaks for UT3 to make it able to boost the frames up. patch it to at least 2.0 and turn off everything in the advanced video menu, except smooth framerate, and screen perc. to around 80-90.

then detail mode low or med, char detail low or med. world detail low or med, try what works best and looks best. then check your fps (F10 > stat fps)

  • I do have an Ati 9600 with 128MBs by chance how can i overclock that beast and what does it produce alot of heat if i overclock? At the moment it is Passiv Cooled with a homemade cooling method xD made up of a dualslot Passivcooler removed from a Northbridge of a motherboard. the material is most probably aluminium but i dont know exactly.

    Specs: Pentium 4 3,0 Ghz HT 4x 512MB DDR

    Radeon "Atlantis" 9600 128MB

PS: Thats my secondary Desktop which has to run ut3 smoothly for the next LAN upgrades?

  • im think 640x480
