  • I think that would be a known size target? Of course shots were fired to make sure that the rifle was on target, how crap would a clip be of rounds hitting nothing? As to the "grouping" its to show rounds impacting dead centre on a 12 inch plate ie under 4 inches in rapid fire, not a "grouping" exercise. Honestly I cant be bothered to respond to most comments but I liked yours, you must be one of the cant shoot for shit internet rifle experts. Have fun on Medal of Honor!!!!

  • $799.00 my ass. I am way happy with my 2 MOA mini tac 580 series.

  • can you get a new barrel for this weapon without getting a whole new upper receiver case

  • With the mini 14 being a defensive rifle for most people, if you can hit a human size target at 300 yards, what else can you ask for?

  • I love these "see how accurate my rifle is" videos. Let's see, a modified rifle with a scope at a known range shooting at an unknown sized target with no knowledge of how many prior shots were fired to "zero" the rifle on to said target for the camera and no way of judging the over all shot "grouping" at that range. Oh yeah, makes me want to run out and get one. lol!!

  • The Mini-14 you have would be very accurate with its modified heavy barrel.

The stock Mini-14 ranch rifle I bought several years ago was extremely inaccurate with its factory-stock thin barrel. I could actually shoot tighter groups with my 6" barreled Ruger GP 100 357 Magnum revolver at 100yards!

That was with both guns bench-rested side-by-side!

    I traded the Mini-14 in on a Rossi 1892 Winchester 24" clone in 357 Mag. I'm sold on the 357 Mag 1892! VERY practical, accurate & trouble-free!

  • i wouldnt ever say they are inaccurate lol

  • If you look at the reliability at freezing temperatures and dirt it out ways the accuracy of any at platform

  • just got my mini back from ASI last week-fit and finish are awesome. test target from ASI was 1.3" w/ 55gr fmj federal and .475" w/42gr dbl hp by HSM!!! i did spend the money and i couldnt be happier, plus i got all kinds of looks and questions at the range this weekend...its unique and i was nailing a 15" plate at 250yds with the new iron sights they installed, and i had it bedded to the original factory folder...BAD ASS!!!!

  • mine was verry accurate in the first place. i liter bottles at 100 yards with the peep sights. i never thought of minys as a good gun to scope.
