  • is it like a LED par 56

  • No. This is a wash light with a wide beam angle. The 56 has a narrow beam. Thanks for watching.

  • could i put that in my car or would the sub make it go booom boom

  • This would be a lot of light for a car. If you are looking for lights, I would look for LED lights made for auto applications.

  • hey i have an appartment that's fairly decent (40 * 30) and i need lights to spruce up my home parties, do u think the colorstrip would be too much or should i get the colorsplash?

  • Both lights should give you the coverage you are looking for.

  • hello! can i use this as a primary lighting for stage?! is it strong enough to light up the stage?! thank you sir

  • I'm looking at purchasing some lights to light a white backdrop for theatre applications. My biggest concern is making sure that they are bright enough to compete with standard stage lights. What would you recommend?

  • @rdoogie okay

  • @ljmike1204 Just to set the record straight; You can get Par 56 bulbs that are narrow, medium, or wide spots, and you can get Par 56 flood bulbs. That might change with the new BS laws on incandescent bulbs.

  • im fascinated.

  • These are good fixtures but Chauvet needs to do something about their quality control and R & D. The main pcb's in these units fail often, resulting in lines of LED's not lighting or loss of DMX control. This is one of only a few units that Chauvet has not discontinued over the years so it's holding it's own in the LED market, along with the Technostrobe RGB.

  • These are great units! I have 8 COLORsplash 200B and they are well worth the money in quality and craftsmanship, very reliable and suitable for all types of applications. I use them for Color wash, as par cans for bands and even as uplighting.

  • thanxz for the video!

  • In auto-mode, is there a way to slow down the changes?

    -thanks

  • Can these lights be used without the DMX board?? If you just plug them into a wall will they work?
