  • There's a documentary called the "The History of number one" by Terry Jones; he talks about the way numbers like 1 and 0 traveled from India to the Arab countries through trade.

  • 0 was invented by the Indians. The Arabs took this from them and introduced it the Europeans. That's why they are called the Hindu-Arabic numerals.
