I don't like your foundation. You have wood in contact with the soil. This could lead to wood rot by means of moisture or termites. you should have used cement blocks to undergird your foundation. It's not too late. You can get some hydrolic jacks and jack your shed up and put some cement blocks underneath it.

@Dogapsa Jacks, shims, are you mad, its a cheap garden shed used for storing stuff in and as a wood working space in the summer. Its not a habitable work of art mate.

@MrLuke6593 the wood you see are the formers used to align the paving slabs laid onto the prepared ground (weedkilled and levelled.)
-
The wood you see forms the boundary edge of the paving slabs that are the base for the shed. It is NOT on the ground.
-
The two peices of wood in the ground merely form two edges to align the slabs to. The base is made from a 6 x 4 block of 1 1/2 inch paving slabs on ground that had been levelled and weedkilled. The shed is NOT on the ground, but on a base not shown in the utube movie. If you look at the first frame you see the base with the first section of shed flooring panel being laid.

fuck off you wankers.. good job girls.
you've got the doors wrong too. The diagonal braces on the doors are supposed to run upwards from the hinge side. so to support it. As it is it just adds weight to it...

@cabobila the doors were premade and installed as per the given instructions. Thanks you for your comment.

walls look flimsy with those 24" studs.

@zigzagbigbag : Yep, walls are flimsy, the whole things is flimsy, its a cheap shed, but all we could afford once you take into account the base materials and preservatives that are needed.

I agree with johnny102marvin.
you need to get the shed off the ground or it will rot and build up mold.
edthescienceguy 2 years ago
@edthescienceguy : I agree too, but the shed iss NOT on the ground and is not rotting or falling apart.
