Always reminds me of leaving school to go to University, 500 miles from home. The fear and fascination of the unknown. Exciting, scary, mysterious and interesting all in one go.

@EdZep123 yes milton keynes was about as modern as Britain got in the 1960s when big tech was all the rage - but it still looks like two boys trying to out do each other one with Lego one with mechano. But the highway lights are spot on for the middle section - that IS what most (intelligent) people see in their minds when they hear this little micro symphony.

This is such a haunting melody. It is of course from Bowie's groundbreaking 1977 electronic album Low.
Great video to go with the music.

This song always reminds me of the sun coming up. I've never associated it with Milton Keynes, though! Berlin maybe. :)
