@slakslaksil There's is one big difference. The Verve kicks ass live and Oasis is sloppy. Saw them both in the 90's and there was no comparison.

Why are people moaning about them using one of Aphrodite's Child's chord progressions? The Verve made no secret of the fact they are huge Aphrodite's Child fans and highly influenced by them.

This song was playing the first time I got high. I was 16 and I was smoking in my bedroom by myself like 10 years ago before 9/11. This song brings back so many memories.
