The statement he makes at about 9:15 about Africans having same IQ as whites in the early 20th century is also interesting. What did you mean by the last statement "It's time to get Real!" may I ask? I am surprised that such a small number of people viewed this video. I think you should consider renaming it so that the title holds more keywords.Perhaps something like "Flynn effect-IQ is on the rise" or something along those lines. This is a great video and I would hope more would get to see it.

I'm still skeptical but I did read in the economist that Nigeria is slated to enter the G20 within the next decade and will overtake South Africa as the largest economy on the continent by 2015, so it seems that Flynn is right. I guess having a black prez in all, that is brilliant, might throw a wrench in some of these things haha.

He says there's a thousand things that could happen in the next thousand years... but there's a thousand things he doesn't know about development of 4 year olds - we know that gifted kids actually develop more slowly than average/below average kids in their first years... Countless known and unknown factors exist; how can he conclude anything about trends in IQ?

@theGetRealGuy If you are going to talk about race,intelligence and IQ,then you should also talk about Class,we know that people with Class have better Education because they can afford it,but does that make them more intelligent than people who can not afford Education,I have met educated people who are more educated than me,but when it comes to intelligence in certain areas,they have no clue,i sometimes question education,i think we need to question what is being taught to us.

so if an individual member of our species was raised in positive enviroment the intelligence actually increases every generation however when human stupidity gets in the way intelligence decreases thanks to to negative enviroments such as parental neglect.
