  • Short answer: yes.

    However, many Quality Assurance pros start as something else: chemists, R&D work, etc. Your best bet is to use your degree to gain entry with a pharma/biotech company, then ultimately transition into the QA field from within that organization.

  • Hi Scott, I'm currently starting my third year in college doing a degree course in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, in Ireland, and I am wondering if my course will allow for me to become involved with a career such as a Quality Assurance Specialist?
