This was NOT an Ethanol train. Remember, an Ethanol train would require the cars to display a placard and at least one buffer car between the locomotive and head car.

It was the GBPAAL 03. Parsons, Kansas to Liberal, Kansas. Its kinda weird that UP gave it a G symbol instead of a U for unit train. All the Ethanol trains I see usually are a U symbol.
The cars must have never been loaded before or they would of had a cover car to separate the engines from the hazmat.

What happened to the Railfaning the UP Herington Subdivision videos?
Great catch there is a proposed ethanol plant in Saint Marys and near Menokan witch would bring ethanol trains to the Salina Sub.

Well since the editor that came with this camera makes my videos choppy, and it just makes things easier to edit, upload and keep track of.
