It would be fun to tinker with it, though I doubt it could do much the average person would find all that interesting.

In 1971, this was the coolest thing on the block. The stuff they show here are from high-end versions, with all the high-tech bells and whistles.
The one I fiddled with as a kid set teh high school back $10,000. Quite a lot of cash for what was basically a number crunching toy.

Very interesting your Old-Computer-Collection. Do you have only standard Computers in your exposition or also some kind of prototypes ? One special extraordinary disign , you will find within my Videos. Does Your museum privide a look to the Hardware internals ?

There is a museum called Computer History Museum located at Mountain View, CA. You can find many historical computers there. This is PDP-8 which was one of historical computers made by DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation).
