  • There is a museum called Computer History Museum located at Mountain View, CA. You can find many historical computers there. This is PDP-8 which was one of historical computers made by DEC (Digital Equipment Corporation).

  • It would be fun to tinker with it, though I doubt it could do much the average person would find all that interesting.

  • In 1971, this was the coolest thing on the block. The stuff they show here are from high-end versions, with all the high-tech bells and whistles.

The one I fiddled with as a kid set teh high school back $10,000. Quite a lot of cash for what was basically a number crunching toy.

  • very cool. please try to record a little ADR (voiceover) and let us know what we're seeing!

  • that thing is ancient

    :)

  • Very interesting your Old-Computer-Collection. Do you have only standard Computers in your exposition or also some kind of prototypes ? One special extraordinary disign , you will find within my Videos. Does Your museum privide a look to the Hardware internals ?

  • I love these videos, but I wish you would have narrirated them. At least just comment on what we are looking at. Where is this place?
