The Orchestra Asia オーケストラ アジア シンモトム

日本・中国・韓国の伝統楽器による史上初の管弦楽団「オーケストラ　アジア」によるコンサートの映像です。

**｢シンモトム｣より、サムルノリ協奏曲／パク･ブンフン作曲*
シンモトムは、第一楽章｢プンジャン(豊作)｣、第二楽章｢ギウォン(祈願)｣、第三
楽章｢ノリ(遊撃)｣の三部楽章からできています。今回は、オーケストラアジアと
４人組のパーカッション･グループ｢サムルノリ｣が共演する形で第三楽章だけ演
奏します。｢サムルノリ｣のサムルとは四物、即ち韓国の伝統的打楽器であるチャ
ンゴ(杖鼓)、プク(鼓)、ケンガリ(鉦)、チン(銅鑼)をさし、ノリとは遊びとか演
奏、英語のplayを意味します。

shin-motomu is composed by three movement, 1st movement Phung
jak(Good harvest), 2nd movement Gi-vong (Prayer), and 3rd movement
Nori (Play). This movies scene is only the 3rd movement Nori(play),
performed by SAMURUNORI.SAMURUNORI is the most famous Korean
traditional percussion group. SAMURU means four musical Instrument,
Chang, Puk, Kengari and Chin. NORI means Play.

This is really cool to see Chinese, Japanese, and Korean musicians playing together. Their instrument work well with one another. I wonder if they perform here in the state. That would be cool to see live.
