Great idea, very clever.

I make two of the same cards. I use a removable note (so they can reuse the card) to let my recipient know the second card was donated to a soldier so he or she could send it back home to a loved one.

Thank you for this tip! I never write on the envelopes so people can re-use them, but this is even a "greener" and more valuable idea!
I'll get it started here, I know it'll catch on ...and we'll save some trees in the process! ( We may even get our own old card back once in a while, so we better select a pretty one to circulate !) :-) Bea

starofmay, I think I got your point.

That's a great idea! I never thought to do it that way!

I'll have to think about this one. I like the idea of my friends and family loving my card so much they want to keep it forever but they probably toss it a few days later. LOL

I've been doing that for a while now too, this past holiday season I gave hand made cards to friends and relatives without anything written in them so they specifically use them in 2010 to pass along to someone else. It was a hit with everyone!

Whoa I think I have that same teapot! I got it at target. Love the red, I have a zebra theme in my kitchen and it looks so hot!

I always do this. Not only does it keep me from messing up on the inside of my card, but it allows my family to resend them.
