How it's made. Some video from Aurora Generators alternator manufacturing. Machines are used to wind the rotors with copper wires. Solder is also used to insure a strong bond between electrical connections. Before assembly each component is tested and again load tested after the generator is completed. Aurora Alternators are built to CSA Standard 22.2 and have ETL approval. These alternator are used on Portable Diesel Generators from Aurora.

There are many others out there that do not use copper wiring, are wound by hand and have no North American electrical approval like Aurora does. If you want to learn more visit Aurora Generators at www.AuroraGenerators.com
