My dad and mom are monks, they cut all their hairs,sometime meditate . they say that lets all of the family cut their hair i was like NO WAY. Is that bad ? I'm just a teenager. I'm vietnamese anyways not chinese. i might learn something but i don't understand much until i get older so i will help my family and try to understand more about my culture and country.I live in america so yea.. sorry for much detail. just come to say how peaceful this is.

Yes. The Swastica symbol was actually stolen by the Nazis from the eastren religions. I asked the same thing when I went to my first Buddhist temple. :)
"The swastika (from Sanskrit svástika स्वस्तिक )dates from the Neolithic period. An ancient symbol, it occurs mainly in the cultures that are in modern day India and the surrounding area.
