This song has always been one of my favourites. I used to have a hard time accepting my sexuality, I felt misunderstood and alone. The song was such a good expression of my feelings at that time that it gave me some hope, If you come to realise that you are gay, there's this feeling saying you're leaving a world behind and you're searching for someplace new, where you are loved and understood. I felt as if I was forever on the run, all alone looking for love and it felt as if they understood.

heerlijk nummer is het en blijft het. het is echt tijdloos. ook mooi rustig. ps. wat is er toch een ophef of hij nou homo is of niet, als 'ie maar gelukkig is. niet moeilijk doen.
