Introduction to NetGenEd Project 2009

The Net Generation Education Project is a partnership between Flat Classroom pioneers Julie Lindsay and Vicki Davis and Don Tapscott, the author of Grown Up Digital. Please see the project Ning at http://netgened.grownupdigital.com and wiki at http://netgened.wikispaces.com.

This is part 1 and a recording of the class discussion to introduce the structure of the NetGenEd project to Mrs. Davis' students at Westwood Schools in Camilla on February 20, 2009 and includes discussions on the project's structure, effective writing, contextual linking, and the need for students to be authentic researchers as well as the structure of using expert advisors with the students. The content of the project is a mashup of the Horizon Report 2009 and Grown Up Digital by Don Tapscott
