Wow. That drum solo-type thing sounds like the songs melody... That's just awesome! I wish John's backing vocals were more prominent in the Who's 1965 recordings...

I love this early Who period. playing blues at 100mph. Speed Blues!!! Moons about 18 in this footage and the drums don't just keep a beat they are playing a melody. He just hits everything he can totally improvised and sounds great. I love the bloke. He makes hitting things an art.
