reminds me of wolf's rain

No, Guerilla Games stated they were based from the mentality and concept Nazi to create the people of Helgast and army. This is not even related with Jin-Roh.

I really liked this movie. Climax in the end was awesome... Fuck the haters....

The film was not as good as I thought, as being directed and made by the people who created Akria and Ghost in the Shell as well as it being helped by Quentin Tarantino it should off been a ace cult flim with a good mix off action, drama and hardship but it was too short off a story which was long winded, the ending was disapointing. Still a decent film.

@tuberoako777 i think lots of things have become lazy and formulaic nowadays
-
@tuberoako777 I'm with you 100%. There could be other factors at play, but it seems computer technology has made animators lazier. Old-school cel animation is way better than 99% of new shit out there.

@shizaquife Now it makes sense. Bennet the Sage reviewed this movie in a segment called Anime Abandon.

@jagarcia0705 The Protect Gear is Based off of Nazi soldiers as they appeared wearing gas masks and the Helghast are based off of the Protect gear from Jin-Roh.
-
0:42 Why do the Helghast from the Killzone games look a lot like the soldiers from this movie? Is is an homage? Coincidence? Or maybe a ripoff?
-
Now i know where helghasts got their designs from..
@ThePlaceCannel we get wolf men in gas masks and MG-42s? not that I disapprove or anything...

After checking out the more popular animes of the 90s then comparing to today's, the artstyle seems to have gotten stale or even degraded..
less illusion of depth and less shots and animations with 3 point perspectives? Not to mention it feels that there's less frames per second with action highlights..
Hmm.. or am I too biased being a 21 year old who loved the Ninja scroll, Yu Yu Hakusho, El Hazard era?
